온타리오는 참 넓구나... 모르는 동네가 한둘이 아니다.
본론으로 들어가, 캔 위에보면 어디서 상받았단다. 사진은 검게 나왔지만 실제론 진한 갈색.
맛은 어딘가 계피향도 스쳐 지나가는 것 같고 절인사과가 떠오르는 것 같기도 하지만 이건 어디까지나 필사적으로
한둘이라도 좋으니 마실거리를 입에 넣고 어떤 향을 잡아보고 싶다는 노이로제에서 비롯된 것이므로 아주 옅은 신빙성.
맥주좀 마신다는 사람들 후기를 보기 주로 캬라멜, 쵸콜렛, 견과류, 커피향이 느껴진다 한다.
어찌되었든 그리 무거운 흑맥주는 아닌 듯. 색은 어둡지만 맛은 비교적 밝다.

Hockley Dark, is a deep chestnut hued traditional English ale with hints of warm caramel, nuts and a subtle chocolate roast finish.
Made with the finest imported English malts and traditional hops, Hockley Dark is best served cool (8-10C), never cold.
The birth of Hockley Dark Traditional English Ale came about through our brewer's penchant for two styles of English ales that
he had become particularly fond of while traveling, studying and brewing his way across the U.K. It is a cross between a Northern Brown ale
with its caramel, nut and soft toffee notes and a Midlands Mild with its subtle chocolate, licorice and dark fruit undertones.
We've tweaked the body slightly to give it a lighter, more North American appeal. Available in LCBO stores across the province in individual 473ml cans.
